Artist's Comments
This was a commision for someone I've just done a logo for. He basicly wanted a Greek Mythology Cyclops emerging through mist as a promotional piece. I tried to keep the figure as humaniod as possible to keep it pretty much inoffensive due to the works nature so went for the 'freak of nature' approach rather than a stereotypical Franenstien hulking monstrosity.
Basic figure pose was created in Poser3 (still haven't got an upgrade!), the rest was edited in PS7, including the eye as Poser doesn't really cater for physical deformities. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
